What information do we collect and how do we use it?
We will ask you for personal information when we assist you with your finance. Personal information may include any sensitive information (including health information) and may include any information you tell us about any vulnerability you may have. We use the information you provide to advise about and assist with your credit needs. We only provide your information to the companies with whom you choose to deal (and their representatives).
We also use your information to send you requested product information and to enable us to manage your ongoing relationship with us e.g. invoicing, client surveys etc. We may do so by mail or electronically unless you tell us that you do not wish to receive electronic communications.
We may occasionally notify you about promotions, new services and special offers, events or articles we think will be of interest to you. We may send you regular updates by email or by post. If you would rather not receive this information, email or write to us.
We may also use your information internally to help us improve our services and help resolve any problems.
If you don’t provide us with full information, we can’t properly advise or assist you with your credit needs.

Where there are paper documents (such as signed loan agreements or identification forms), these documents are placed in locked and access-controlled facilities. We periodically evaluate how we keep data, this includes using other companies that have well-established management of security and comply with the Australian privacy principles. Where these providers are based overseas, we take extra measures to ensure that your information is treated with the same level of protection that the Australian laws provide under its privacy act.
To protect your information, we have put in place a complete set of policies and security practices. Encryption of relevant data, both storage and communication, use of secure firewalls, and installation and regular updating of antivirus and anti-malware tools, and restriction of internal system access to authorized personnel. Employees receive regular training related to privacy and security, thus they are aware of their responsibilities to protect your information. Suspicion of unconsented disclosure, access, or alteration of your personal information may also trigger the activation of our incident response measures. In such situations, we will contact you and the relevant authorities where required by law. Periodic audits and evaluations of our policies, practices, and systems enable us to improve management and maintain best practice security standards. When your personal data is no longer needed, we make reasonable efforts to remove or conceal this information, in accordance with the law and basic guidelines.
